I am Claire (a.k.a. iopi), and I work as a Book interior & Cover Designer, Illustrator and Animation & Video Creator (partly AI). I also illustrate children’s and other books by hand using digital tools, without the use of AI.

Over the years I collaborated with various publishing houses, and at the same time I started my own art business (www.iopiart.com), an online store where I can sell my artwork and undertake commissions for clients.

In addition, I create animated book trailers and videos for children’s and adult books. My work combines traditional editing tools, such as the Adobe Creative Suite, with AI-assisted tools and techniques, which I use selectively as part of the creative process to enhance movement and visual storytelling.

I use Adobe’s Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Apple’s Procreate. I also developed, so far, three websites using WordPress and Elementor (including this one).

I began my career as a lawyer, before eventually deciding to follow my passion for illustration, art, and visual design. I am also an amateur photographer, with training in both analog and digital photography. I speak English fluently, as well as French,  some Italian and Greek.

I live and work in Athens, Greece, in a beautiful house with a big garden where my studio is also located.
